Neon colors should be avoided because you want the overall ambiance of rustic cabin to be homey and well-lived in.

You can highlight the pretty sheen on your wooden surfaces using light. Light can be manipulated to add drama to your rustic cabin. Sometimes, you can use light to make a certain piece the focal point of the room. However, unsightly stains made by coffee splatter or construction mistakes must be sanded off because they will be visible in natural light.

Dividers

The dining room in a rustic cabin can be a part of the one-room kitchen. In case of two-room cabins, dining and living rooms are usually in one space. If they are all in one room, you can always put up dividers. Position the bed in the far side of the room away from the kitchen. The table should come with a set of matched chairs, and placed nearest the kitchen.
