Waiting is the most stressing verb in the dictionary. So I usually take a book with me when I know I have to wait for some time. The book didn’t do any good because soon enough, I’ve started to forget about what I just read. Just like that I was carried from a far away place.

Winning the lottery is one of my fantasies. For a million dollars, this is what I want. The most basic is a house. I don’t want it huge; I just want a regular two-story house with a lawn for my future family. It should cost me around 150k, so that leaves me $850k more. Then I want at least a brand new car. I own a truck that I have to bring to the shop every month. Luxury cars don’t entice me as I don’t want my car to be car-napped. Purchasing a Ford Truck should be sufficient for my need. Then there’s my family. My mother wants the whole house tiled. My dad will ask for a bike. A brand new electric guitar is what I think my little brother would ask from me. Right after when I was just about to sum everything up, the assistant of the clinic called me and said the dentist is now going to entertain my need. Ugh! The though of having a tooth of mine removed was out of the thought while I was sitting in one of the many waiting room chairs.

Then in another time, the thought of Patsy and Tatyana came to me. They are both stunningly good looking, Patsy is a blond with blue eyes and Tatyana is a Latina Hottie. These are the two girls who love to flirt with me in between classes. They both have great assets, Patsy has nice legs and Tatyana’s curves are just irresistible. At the climax of this daydream of mine, somebody was calling my name: it was the receptionist, asking me if I’m still in for the sperm donation. There I was again in one of those waiting room chairs, waiting for my turn. That daydream of mine was really great, it made me feel like I didn’t wait at all.

I remember last Friday I was glancing at different colors around me. There were colors everywhere, which reminded me of my childhood. Colorful balloons, colorful toys, colorful candies. I remember learning how to ride the bike. I remember asking Santa for an all-terrain vehicle and I got a remote control Humvee instead. I remember swimming in the beach with people in colorful swimwear. Then a burly man yelled, “Man, your turn!”Again, at the most climatic part of my daydream, somebody called my name and said that I’m next. I just realized where I was exactly. There were a lot of colors around me because I was in a tattoo parlor. “Oh, mister, I’m sorry.I think I’m in the wrong store.” I was sitting on a waiting chair when I just stood up fast and got out. I think I was more afraid of what my mother would do to me than the needles. Thank goodness for waiting periods.
